Welcome

Welcome to my web site. I have been a registered social worker in the Saskatoon community for the last 40 years. In that time I have worked in a number of different public institutions where I have obtained varied experience.

My Masters Degree was obtained in 1986 and the clinical focus of this degree was in Family Therapy. I have since completed training programs in Reality Therapy, Bioenergics Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Ericksonian Hypnoses, Ego State Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, EMDR, and have training in Narrative Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and a number of Couple Therapy models. I have been a social worker in a forensic hospital, in a number of different mental health outpatient programs and outpatient programs as a medical social worker and have had a private practise for the last 20 years. I have been an educator as a faculty member of the College of Medicine with the University of Saskatchewan, and as an instructor with the School of Social Work at the University of Regina and the William Glasser Instititute.

Through this varied training and experience I approach each client I see with the question, what pieces of what I know will be most helpful for this person.
